English quiz “The cleverest”

Мета заходу:

-         освітня: відпрацювати фонетичні навички ; вчити іноземну мову в ігрових ситуаціях; проконтролювати мовні навички ти вміння учнів; проконтролювати рівень засвоєння учнями даних тем.

-         розвиваюча: розвивати вміння   застосовувати вивчені лексичні одиниці та граматичні правила в конкретній обстановці; розвивати здогадку та вміння швидко орієнтуватися в умовах непідготовленого монологічного мовлення.

-         виховна: прищеплювати цікавість до культури , історії, традицій англомовних країн; виховувати вміння працювати в колективі(команді) 

Обладнання: картки , олівці, чисті аркуші паперу, призи,  спокійна мелодія, жетони

                                                 Хід заходу

I. Організаційний момент.

а) Привітання;

Dear Friends! We are very glad to see you here. Glad to meet you, dear boys and girls. Today we are having a competition, an English quiz and each of you will take part in it as a member of one team or fans. We will not read texts or learn dialogues. We were busy doing all that at the previous lessons. Today we will play.

б) Поділ  учнів на команди

- Учні по черзі дістають із  сумки жетони різного кольору і діляться  на команди.

в)  Представлення  команд і капітанів

Today we are going to have a kind of intellectual game be­tween two teams of the two groups. We hope it'll be rather interesting for you and you'll have a good time. So, be attentive, listen to all the questions and try to give, the right answers. We wish you good luck and hope for your active participation. And whatever team is the first, the main winner, of course, will be friendship. Yes, you'll have to work together to make the common decision and it's possible only when you are united, when you are real friends.

II Основна частина заходу

2.1 Фонетична розминка. Вірші. “Rhymes”

                            Зайшов художник в магазин,

                            Купив  зелену фарбу green,

                           

                            А я понад усе люблю,

                            Вдягати  сині  джинси blue.

                           

                            Дівчинка, красуня Белла,

                            Носить сукню жовту yellow,

                           

                           У мене є велосипед,

                            Він увесь червоний red,

                           

                           Фіалка має гарний цвіт,

                            Він фіолетовий –violet.

                          

                            У Катрусі бантик зник,

                            Бант рожевий в Каті-pink,

                           

                             Не забудь забрати чек,

                            Купивши чорну фарбу black.

                           

                            Білий колір ти згадай,

                            На англійській білий- white,

                          

                            Orange- колір апельсину,

                            Абрикосів й мандарину.

                          

                             Коричнева, ми знаєм, кава

                                                    І колір шоколаду- brown.    

2.2. Draw a picture                      

The winner in this contest is….. In order to manage with your next task «Draw a picture» you need to use you memory, listening and painting skills. You’ll read to a shot story only once and your task is to draw what’s the story about. Teams get paper and colored pencils. The team that makes more detailed picture wins, after listening you will have a minute to make a picture. Maximum 10 points.

            The story: There is a big house in the middle of the picture. The house is yellow with red roof. There are two windows in the house and one door. To the left of the house there is a green tree. To the right of the house there are two flowers. One flower is red, the second flower is blue. Under the tree there is a black dog, on the tree there is a fat cat.

2.3 Game “It is true or false”

Choose a number of card, read the sentence, say if it is true or not, change the sentence to make it true

2.4 Capitan’s competition

- I’ll tell you the words in Ukraine and you must translate this words in English by one minute.

- Find 16 word from the topic animals in magic box
